Professor Bhavani Prasad Panda

Prof. Bhavani Prasad Panda is the Founding Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. He also serves as a member of the Executive Council at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law Univeristy, Visakhapatnam. He graduated in LL.B from Lingaraj Law College, Berhampur, Orissa in 1979. Thereafter he went on to pursue higher studies in different disciplines of law.

Prior to his present designation Prof. BP Panda has held 16 other educational seats in various law institutes of India. He found his place as the Principal of NBM Law College, Professor of WBNUJS, Principal of Lingaraj Law College, Dean, Faculty of Legal Studies (BU), Chairman, Board of Studies Law, BU among others. He has numerous publications and has been an active member of different academic, executive and financial councils of various institutions

Mr. Bhumesh Verma 

Bhumesh Verma is the managing partner of Corp Comm Legal, which he set up after spending 23 years with some of the best Indian Law firms. He is a law graduate from Delhi University and also a Chevening Scholor. He is experienced in corporate and commercial matters, M&A, FDI, financial and technical collaborations, private equity, venture capital, due diligence, regulatory and strategic advice.

Prof. (Dr.) Saumya Uma

Dr. Uma is an Associate Professor at Jindal global Law School and has pursued her B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) from National Law School of India (NLSIU), Bangalore. She teaches and researches at the intersection of gender, human rights and the law. She has over 25 years’ combined work experience as an academic, law researcher, lawyer, trainer, writer and campaigner on gender, law and human rights. She has served as a research consultant on human rights, with international agencies such as the United Nations Development Fund (UNDP), United Nations Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (UNOHCHR) and the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). She has a vast experience in engaging with a variety of international and national actors and institutions including universities, non-profit organizations, UN agencies, parlimentarians and bureaucrats from India and abroad. She has researched and authored twelve books, edited/co-edited books by reputed publishers such as the Oxford University Press, and has written and published more than 50 articles.
