Results of Ambedkar Memorial Essay Competition: Winners List

List of Selected Essays for Publication

Abstract

All submissions must be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 300 words. Include Key Words as well.

Articles 

A comprehensive and thorough analysis of issues relevant to the theme. The word limit for articles is between 5,000 to 8,000 words.

Essays 

They should give a detailed argument based analysis of the subject matter being dealt with. Essays should generally cover areas which remain unexplored. The word limit for essays is between 3,000 to 6,000 words.

Comments

Comments on judicial decisions shall limit to 3,0005,000 words.

Analysis of legislative materials shall limit to 3,000-5,000 words.

Reviews of recently published books may be upto 2,000-3,000 words; besides other forms of scholarly writing.

* Arguments must be logical and can take into account aspects such as sociological, political, and economic implications.

Formatting

All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Spacing 1.5.

All footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, single-spaced and should conform to the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). 

Left 1.5 Inch and Right 1 Inch, Top 1 Inch and Bottom 1 Inch. All the word limits are exclusive of footnotes.

Submission

All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx formats along with a pdf copy of the same.

The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions or view stated in the submitted Manuscript.

All manuscripts would be subject to plagiarism check and if the content is found to be plagiarized, the submission is liable to be rejected.

COPYRIGHT

The authors by submitting their articles would be deemed to have divested the copyright to the Indian Journal of Constitutional Studies.

The Indian Journal of Constitutional Studies shall retain all copyright arising out of any publications and only the moral rights shall vest with the author(s).

The submission must be original, unpublished and an outcome of the author’s own efforts.

The authors are required to acknowledge contribution of all persons and resources relating to the submission.

Authors' autobiographical details should appear as the first footnote of each contribution, and include the name, academic and professional qualifications, institutional affiliation, current title and position of each author.

It is author's responsibility to ensure that all references and citations are correct, and that the contribution does not contain any material that infringes copyright, or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful or litigious.

The Author(s) will indemnify and defend the Publisher against any claim, demand or recovery against the Publisher by reason of any violation of any proprietary right or copyright, or because of any libelous or scandalous matter contained in the Manuscript.

The Publisher will have the right to edit the work for the original edition and for any revision, provided that the meaning of the text is not materially altered.

*UPON RECEIPT OF ACCEPTED MANUSCRIPTS AT THE INDIAN JOURNAL OF CONSTITUTIONAL STUDIES, AUTHORS WILL BE INVITED TO COMPLETE AN ONLINE COPYRIGHT LICENCE TO PUBLISH FORM.

Please note that by submitting an article for publication you confirm that you are the corresponding/submitting author and that the Indian Journal of Constitutional Studies  ("IJCS") may retain your email address for the purpose of communicating with you about the article. You agree to notify IJCS immediately if your details change. If your article is accepted for publication IJCS will contact you using the email address you have used in the registration process. Please note that IJCS does not retain copies of rejected articles.

*IN THE EVENT THAT SUBMISSION IS CONSIDERED AND FINALISED FOR PUBLICATION AND THEREAFTER DUE TO ANY REASONS WHATSOEVER, IS NOT PUBLISHED IN THE CURRENT ISSUE, THE SAME SHALL BE CONSIDERED ON BASIS OF PRIORITY FOR PUBLICATION IN THE SUBSEQUENT ISSUE BY WAY OF ROLLING SUBMISSION. THE SAME SHALL BE INTIMATED TO THE AUTHOR(S) AS PER IJCS POLICIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF NOTIFICATION. 

 

 

Processing Fees

Indian Nationals

Submissions by single authors, if found eligible upon scrutiny, are published in the Journal upon the payment of a processing fees of INR 1500 all inclusive. As a policy, IJCS allow the publication of the submissions made by multiple authors as well, though the number of authors must not exceed 02 at any point of time. In such cases, the cumulative processing fees of the submissions is INR 2000 all inclusive. Contributors are entitled to the postage of a single copy of the Journal in a CD- ROM along with an authorized certification of publication in the name of the author(s) of the contribution, as the case may be.

Foreign Nationals

The Indian Journal of Constitutional Studies doesn't restrict to only Indian Nationals, and humbly solicits the contribution of Foreign Nationals as well in its issues. Submissions by single authors, if found eligible upon scrutiny, are published in the Journal upon the payment of a processing fees of INR 2500 all inclusive. As a policy, Indian Journal of  Constitutional Studies allow the publication of the submissions made by multiple authors as well, though the number of authors must not exceed 02 at any point of time. In such cases, the cumulative processing fees of the submissions is INR 3000 all inclusive. Contributors are entitled to the postage of a single copy of the Journal in a CD- ROM along with an authorized certification of publication in the name of the author(s) of the contribution, as the case may be.

Hard Copies of the Journal can be obtained by payment of additional INR 500, inclusive of postal charges.

NOTE: In no event IJCS or its subsidiaries ask for payment of processing fees before the confirmation of publication to the Author(s). Remittance of all Processing fees shall be made via Demand Draft or NEFT. Drawee's details shall be intimated along-with confirmation of Publication.

Should you choose to ignore this WARNING, and remit any fee or money to IJCS or its subsidiaries, you agree not hold IJCS or its subsidiaries liable. subsequently you agree to not to institute any proceeding in any court of law.
